The congenital uterine and vaginal disorders are caused by the Müllerian duct development dysfunction during the 7th gestational week. Clinically, the recognition of the disorders requiring surgical intervention after the first menstrual period is very important. Late recognition of impermeability of the genital tract may lead to severe consequences including sterility. In our case the diagnosis was very difficult because of the coexistence of two disorders: double uterus and asymmetric partial transverse vaginal atresia.
