Since the first laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed in 1987, laparoscopic surgery is used in an ever increasing range of indications. Some of the laparoscopic procedures have already become a gold standard. The well known advantages of partial adrenalectomy encouraged us to perform an excision of a hormonally active adenoma using the laparoscopic approach. We present a case of a woman with primary hyperaldosteronism caused by adrenal adenoma, on whom we performed laparoscopic partial adrenalectomy, and we observed regression of Conn’s syndrome symptoms.
