Aim of the study
was to perform a pre- and postoperative functional assessment of clinical parameters in patients implanted with Acrysof Alcon Vivity.

Material and methods
This single-center retrospective analysis included 45 patients (71 eyes) who had Acrysof Alcon Vivity intraocular lenses implanted between 1st January 2021 and 31st March 2022. Uncorrected and corrected distance visual acuity (UDVA, CDVA), uncorrected and distance corrected intermediate visual acuity (UIVA, DCIVA), uncorrected and distance corrected near visual acuity (UNVA, DCNVA), mean axial length, and mean spherical equivalent were assessed pre- and 3 months postoperatively. Dysphotopsia, spectacle independence, and quality of vision (VFQ-25) were evaluated at a follow-up 3 months postoperatively.

Results
Preoperative UDVA and CDVA were 0.51 ±0.21, 0.33 ±0.19 logMAR, respectively. Postoperative UDVA, CDVA, UIVA, DCIVA, UNVA, DCNVA were 0.1 ±0.11, 0.03 ±0.05, –0.02 ±0.04, –0.09 ±0.00, 0.02 ±0.14 and –0.01 ±0.00 logMAR, respectively. Halo and glare occurred in 21.1% and 18.3% of patients, respectively. A total of 57% of patients were spectacles dependent (needed glasses for reading small print in poor light).

Conclusions
Most patients were satisfied with Acrysof Alcon Vivity intraocular lenses. Good visual outcomes and minor dysphotopsia were achieved postoperatively.
