Czy można mówić o specyfice psychoterapii i superwizji psychoonkologicznej?

Psychoterapia jako metoda leczenia chorych z zaburzeniami psychicznymi ma już wieloletnią tradycję. Jednak określenie możliwości i obszarów zastosowania psychoterapii u osób z chorobami somatycznymi nadal wymaga doprecyzowania. W artykule podjęto próbę opisania różnic występujących na różnych poziomach tworzenia relacji terapeutycznej z pacjentem onkologicznym w stosunku do standardowego procesu psychoterapii zaburzeń emocjonalnych niepowiązanych przyczynowo z chorobą somatyczną. Zakres dyskutowanych zagadnień obejmuje też porównanie statusu formalnego psychoterapeuty i psychoonkologa oraz omówienie różnic pomiędzy pacjentem psychoterapeuty a pacjentem psychoonkologa i ich potencjalnego wpływu na charakter relacji terapeutycznej w psychoonkologii. Kolejny dyskutowany temat dotyczy zagadnienia superwizji w psychoonkologii, w tym określenia grona jej beneficjentów oraz optymalnego zakresu stosowania. Celem pracy jest również zachęta do szerszej dyskusji o zakresie psychoterapii i superwizji w psychoonkologii.

Psychotherapy as a treatment method for patients with mental disorders have a long tradition. But the possibilities and areas of application of psychotherapy in somatic diseases is still debated. In the present article the authors takes an attempt to describe the dissimilarities that appear at different levels of the therapeutic relation during the treatment process of oncological patients compared to the standard process of psychotherapy. The discussed issues includes the comparison of the occupational status of psychotherapist and psychooncologist and an attempt to finding the answer for the question: whether there are differences between the client of psychotherapist and a customer

of psycho-oncologist? If they exist, how do they affect the nature of the therapeutic relationship in psycho-oncology. Another problem that have been discussed below is the issue of supervision in the psycho-oncology, and the designation of the circle of its beneficiaries and its scope. The aim of this paper is also an invitation for other authors for a broader discussion about psychotherapy and supervision in psycho-oncology.
