The goal of rehabilitation is to restore the physical and psychical functions in a wide range and as quickly as possible to restore work ability and participation in social life. The most common diseases responsible for the greatest destruction of active and passive components of the joints are: rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Rehabilitation in these diseases is a challenge because of the progressive course (more or less intense), the destruction in many parts of the motor system (more or less advanced), pain, weakness and damage of the ligaments, muscles, bones and articular cartilage. Patients” lack of acceptance of their new situation and the difficulty of social integration is observed. The main condition of functional improvement is simultaneous use of rehabilitation methods such as: physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy and orthopaedic aids
