Background
This study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between bricolage and self-efficacy in nursing students.

Material and methods
The study was conducted with undergraduate nursing students between October 1, 2022 and April 1, 2023, using the snowball (chain) sampling method. Data were collected online with the Personal Descriptive Form, General Self-Efficacy Scale and Bricolage Scale and analyzed in SPSS version 22.

Results
The mean scores were as follows: 32.93±7.27 for the Initiation Dimension, 17.79±3.87 for the Persistence Dimension, 9.85±2.51 for the Maintenance Effort Persistence Dimension, 60.57±11.61 for the General Self-Efficacy Scale, and 30.66±5.32 for the Bricolage Scale. The U values of the difference between nursing students in terms of their feeling of being suited to the nursing profession in terms of the Initiation Dimension, Persistence Dimension, Maintenance Effort Persistence Dimension, and General Self-Efficacy Scale scores were determined to be significant at a significance level of p<0.05.

Conclusions
It can be said that the general self-efficacy status of nursing students who feel suited to the nursing profession is better than those who do not feel suited to the nursing profession.
