Dear Colleagues,
Hello again, I hope you have had a great vacation and relaxation.
With new strengths we return to work.
I am just looking forward to presenting you the new issue of “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques”. You will find, as usual, 21 interesting articles about minimally invasive surgery in it. We constantly strive to accept papers of the highest scientific and clinical quality. We are obliged to do so by the latest scientific journal indicators, which verified our activity from the last year. Our new IF is now 0.852 and CiteScore is 0.98. These high parameters are the results of your high-level publications, which have been noticed in the world of surgery. We would like to thank you so much for this.
In this present issue the leading topics are minimally invasive adrenal and colorectal surgery. As usual, you will also find a number of papers on advanced laparoscopic surgery of other organs. For the first time, there is a work in the field of minimally invasive ophthalmology. There are also two case studies, but we are slowly discontinuing the acceptance of this type of article, preferring more scientifically advanced papers. I cordially invite you to read all of them and also to present your latest surgical achievements in upcoming “Videosurgery and Other Miniinvasive Techniques” issues.
For the new academic year I would like to wish you success in the field of science. I hope to see you at many surgical meetings and scientific conferences of the 2018/2019 season.
Kind regards,
Jacek Szeliga
