Rotavirus infections constitute the main cause of acute gastroenteritis in children. In the course of rotavirus gastroenteritis, despite typical complications (in the form of water-electrolyte disturbances and lactose intolerance), we should take into account various systemic manifestations due to observed viraemia.
The aim of this manuscript is a review of relevant studies concerning rotavirus gastroenteritis-associated hepatitis. keywords:
