Ladies and Gentlemen, Friends
It is our great pleasure to welcome you in Poznan. This time - Virtual Poznan. It is the 13th International Conference of Contemporary Oncology, and we are inviting You to active participation. From 20 to 23 of April 2022, due to the COVID19 pandemic the Conference will be stream on-line. Of course, it is depressing however, our last year experience was very encouraging. Usually, there were 100 -150 participants attending each year, but last edition we had more than 600 participants on-line. Each session was viewed by 180 scientists participating at least for 2 hours. Above indicates that such a form of presentations is acceptable and is getting more and more popular. Let’s see what will happen this year.
The leading topic of the 13th Conference is “Progress in oncology”. Fifty-nine Speakers were invited and next 6 will be selected from abstracts. They will cover a broad spectrum of aspects related to experimental and clinical oncology (30 experimental, 29 clinical). Some of leading scientists-presenters are recognized worldwide, and you might have met them during our previous editions. It indicates that they care and keep supporting Polish oncology.
Our journal “Contemporary Oncology” current bibliographic measures are, SCOPUS – expected CiteScore for 2022 equals 2,8. The Journal is placed in 54 percentiles for Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Imaging categories and in 40 percentile of category Oncology.
WoS – H-Index equals 7, Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) 2020 = 0,27. Moreover, the Journal
is recommended by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). The Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN, Warsaw) granted our Contemporary Oncology for 70 points, which is not bad. Accordingly, we still need to work hard to improve the citation factors and a position within categories.
We wish you all great conference and satisfaction with topics and presentations.
