Linear IgA bullous dermatosis (LABD) is a rare acquired subepidermal blistering disease of the skin. The diagnosis of LABD is based on immunopathological findings. We report
here a 63-year-old man with LABD and hairy cell leucaemia in remission. The association of LABD and malignancies, and the possible mechanisms of autoimmunity are described. A considerable heterogeneity of LABD is also discussed.
