Demonstration of surgical procedure with the usage of NeuraGen nerve guide (Integra NeuroSciences, USA) NeuraGen is an absorbable implant designed for peripherial nerve repair Clinical, neurophysiological and surgical analysis of 3 patients with complete cutting (dissection) of upper extremity nerves in which NeuraGen nerve guide has been applied Results: As a result of surgical treatment with the use of NeuraGen nerve guide the clinical postoperational mobility of extremity primarily paralyzed below injury site due to nerve cutting has been achieved Time of postoperational observation was 24 months Conclusions: NeuraGen nerve guide is very useful for reconstruction of peripheral nerves deficiencies because: • implantation is very easy and fast, • saves operating team time, • beneficial environment inside the tube is created for nerve regeneration, • nerve guide constitutes mechanical support for nerve stumps
