Close cooperation between ophtalmologist and anaesthetist is essential to success in treatment of patients with elevated IOP. Therapeutic procedures carrying out by anaesthetist include possibility of correction of basic extrabulbar factors influencing the IOP. Most important is possibility of controlling circulatory and respiratory parameters and influence on vascular flow in eye arteries.
