W czasie Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology 2019 w Waszyngtonie odbyła się po raz kolejny sesja Polskiego Towarzystwa Dermatologicznego. Prezes PTD prof. Lidia Rudnicka podkreśliła, że sesje polskie w czasie konferencji AAD stały się już tradycją. Gościem specjalnym była profesor Branca Marinović, która zaprezentowała wykład Selected topics in autoimmune blistering diseases. W czasie sesji wykładowcami byli prof. Wioletta Barańska-Rybak (Unusual cases of syphilis), prof. Aleksandra Lesiak (Differential diagnosis of skin lesions – is it always lupus?), prof. Joanna Narbutt (Blistering disorders in children – a therapeutical challenge), prof. Jacek Szepietowski (Is secukinumab effective in hidradenitis supurativa), prof. Adam Reich (Rheumatoid neutrophilic dermatitis – a diagnostic dilemma and treatment challenge), dr Mariusz Sikora (Bullous pemphigoid associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors), prof Roman J. Nowicki (The basic management of atopic dermatitis).
