The tumor found in the breast is recognized as primary lesion. Neoplasm metastasis from another organ is rare in the breast and it occurs via blood vessels. Usually it occurs during carcinoma of the second breast, malignant melanoma, pulmonary carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, stomach carcinoma, lymphoma and leukemia. Metastasis of renal carcinoma to the breast is especially rare, which is emphasized in the literature.
This paper presents the case of a 64-year-old woman with metastasis of renal cell carcinoma to the breast 12 years after nephrectomy. Metastasis to the breast was the first symptom of generalized neoplasm disease.
Such a long time between the first diagnosis of renal cancer and generalized neoplasm disease is an exception.
