The aim of these studies was to analyse successful trials of vaginal labour after previous cesarian section that took place in the Gynecology and Infertility Department.
According to the analysis of the examined group of patients we confirmed that.
Threatening intrauterine fetal asphyxia was the most common suden indication and abnormal position of the fetus – the most common elective indication for previous cesarian section.
The most frequent indications for the next cesarian section included thretening intrauterine fetal asphyxia and stopped progress of labour.
We noticed an increasing rate of cesarian sectiones in following years of the observation.
We confirmed a gradually decreasing rate of vaginal labours after previous cesarian section.
The trial of vaginal labour after previous cesarian section should be attempted more frequently but objective observations of women in labour are necessary.
