Nominacje profesorskie
17 listopada 2009 roku w Pałacu Prezydenckim odbyła się uroczystość wręczenia nominacji profesorskich 137 nauczycielom akademickim oraz pracownikom nauki. W imieniu Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej akty nominacyjne profesorom wręczył minister Maciej Łopiński - szef Gabinetu Prezydenta RP.
Wśród nominowanych profesorów nauk medycznych był również członek Oddziału Morskiego Polskiego Towarzystwa Dermatologicznego dr hab. Roman Janusz Nowicki, prof. nadzw. Gdańskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego.
