The authors present a patient who developed adenocarcinoma within the ileal “J” pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) after restorative proctocolectomy for familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP).
In our opinion PET/CT is recommended in each case of dysplasia in patients operated on for FAP.
