Helicobacter pylori prevalence in children is high and increases with age. H. pylori incidence depends on sanitary and socioeconomic condition. In Poland mean H. pylori prevalence yields 32% with regional variations. Usually H. pylori infection is detected at upper G.I. endoscopy performed due to organic disease suspicion. After H. pylori infection with gastritis or ulcer diseses confirmation eradication is introduced causting of PPI or bismuth subsalicytate and two antibiotics. Eradication efficiency depends on H. pylori strains sensitivity, concentrate medications dosage and time of treatment. Increasing resistance of H. pylori strains to metronidazole and claritrhromycin is beeing observed.
