We present an extremely rare case of an infarcted Warthin tumor of the parotid gland, which mimics a malignant tumor. The stable tumor was observed for three years, but after open biopsy, the patient reported rapid, rocking tumor growth with skin ulceration. The differentiation of infarcted Warthin tumors from other salivary gland tumors poses a huge challenge for clinicians, thus special attention is paid to the latest diagnostic tools that help to identify this tumor at the preoperative stage.
