Aim and Scope
Nutrition, Obesity & Metabolic Surgery (formerly Endokrynologia, Otyłość i Zaburzenia Przemiany Materii, ISSN: 1734–3321) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary online published quarterly journal for nutrition, obesity and its complications as well as therapy including metabolic surgery research.
It is the official journal of the Polish Association for the Study of Obesity.
Nutrition, Obesity & Metabolic Surgery is a multidisciplinary journal for obesity research and therapy, publishes articles covering all aspects of:
- nutrition – basic research, eating habits, the impact on health of micro- and macronutrients, the role of change in eating habits in the prevention and treatment of obesity and its complications,
- obesity – epidemiology, basis research, clinical trials, psychological and socio-economic aspects, obesity complications, treatment including aspects of physical activity and preventive action,
- metabolic surgery – basic research, techniques, clinical studies.
Types of articles published in Nutrition, Obesity & Metabolic Surgery include original research, reviews, short communications and letters to the editor.
The editors carefully select papers to present only the most recent findings in clinical practice and research.
This journal is addressed to pediatricians, internists, endocrinologists, diabetologists, surgeons, general practitioners, dieticians, psychologists and psychiatrists, sports medicine and public health specialists.
The articles in this journal are published open access (OA)
