Concert by Piotr Cugowski
CONCERT BY PIOTR CUGOWSKI (ROOM A, OPERA HALL, LEVEL +1)
Wednesday (14 September)
50 zł BRUTTO
Piotr Cugowski is one of the most striking male voices in Poland. In 2001, together with his brother, Wojtek Cugowski, he founded the band Bracia (Brothers), which split up at the end of 2018. The band played hundreds of concerts throughout the country and abroad, releasing 4 studio albums and a number of hits on radio playlists, including: "Over the Chasm," "I Believe in a Better World," "Unwritten," "Behind Glass," "On the Other Side of the Clouds," "Missing Every Moment."
Piotr Cugowski is a frequent guest in various musical projects. His musical sensitivity and ability to move freely among various musical styles have made him a vocalist who is also highly regarded outside the rock scene. Consequently, he has collaborated with leading Polish artists and with some of the legends of world music, such as: Jon Lord of Deep Purple or the Canadian singer Garou.
In 2018, Piotr was hired by Polish television to appear on the TV show The Voice of Poland as a vocal coach. Thanks to his music education and extensive knowledge of the subject, the participants competing for the title of the best voice in Poland worked with an expert in the field of singing, which also reflected in the artistic quality of the program. At the end of 2018, the Brothers split up, and Piotr Cugowski began working on his first solo album. He released his first single later in the fall of 2018 and premiered it on all leading radio stations. On March 6, 2019, the record was awarded platinum by the Audio-Video Producers Association (ZPAV).
Piotr Cugowski's, first solo album "40" was released in 2019. In addition to the song "Who did not love", it was promoted by the following songs and music videos: "Stay with me", " Let me live" and “The likes of us the world has never known.”
Concert financed by the organizer's own funds and sponsoring companies not affiliated with INFARMA. The organizer declares that the extracurricular (entertainment) program is not financed by members of the POLMED Chamber or MedTech Poland.

An Evening at the OSTERWA THEATRE + a concert by Jolanta Sip and Piotr Selim - members of the Lublin Federation of Bards.
Friday (16 September)
PLN 50 (Limited number of seats)
Erected in 1884-1886 to a design by Karol Kozlowski, the building of the Lublin theater is one of the oldest theater buildings in the country. The initiators of its construction were Lublin industrialists, brothers Adolf and Juliusz Frick, and it was erected by "Lubliners - for themselves" from public donations made to a private partnership called "Lublin Theater." It was officially opened on February 6, 1886 and was then one of the most beautiful and modern theaters in Europe. Rich stucco decorations and gilding, painted plafonds in the vestibule and auditorium by Feliks Teplicki, a representative curtain painted by Naramowski and Sandecki completed the "overall splendor.".

LUBLIN FEDERATION OF BARDS
The ensemble was and is made up of winners of major art song festivals. Thus, this is an original performing group offering its own understanding of entertainment. It has been on stage since May 1999. The way it organizes its work is reminiscent of the Kraków-based Piwnica pod Baranami, with its many authors, composers and performers. It draws on the folk music of the Eastern Borderlands and classical music; it makes references to ambitious rock and pop trends. It is characterized by unprecedented powerful voices, as well as exceptional attention to both music and lyrics. It is worth noting that both music and lyrics are mostly the work of the ensemble members. They performed as a star guest at the Stage Song Review in Wroclaw, the Student Song Festival in Cracow, the Second Festival of True Song (Sopot - Opera Leśna) and the Olsztyn Castle Meetings "Let's Sing Poetry", to name a few. It has successfully performed in Vienna, Paris, New York, Lviv and several times in London. The group releases its albums every two years, and records (among others) in Agnieszka Osiecka music studio, Polish Radio studio in Krakow and Polish Radio studio in Lublin. In 2017, the group was invited to perform during the main concert marking the seven-hundredth anniversary of Lublin (alongside Beata Kozidrak, Krzysztof and Piotr Cugowski), creating the libretto and collective scenes. All the phonograms were promoted by Polish Radio, and most of them in recorded form by Polish Television (TVP).
