The 32nd EACD meeting in Poznan promises to be exciting and ground breaking! The meeting is being hosted by the Polish Academy of Child Disability and coincides with its creation. The EACD Poznan meeting has provided the optimum opportunity for a mulitidisciplinary team of professionals and parents from Poland and the region to come together with a shared vision of improving the lives of disabled children and their families in Poland. It is momentous indeed!
The EACD Poznan meeting also brings the wonderful opportunity to bring together colleagues from East European nations to an EACD meeting. For a lot of colleagues from Eastern Europe it will be their first visit to an EACD meeting and for existent EACD members, our first opportunity to share ideas with the new delegates and make new friends. On behalf of the EACD General Management Committee I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all friends, new and old.

There is, of course, the stellar line up of keynotes, the mini-symposiums, papers, poster, amazing pre-conference symposia and much, much more! More importantly, the wonderful atmosphere of historical Poznan allows us to catch up with friends and colleagues, find out what they have been up to and may be even plan the next joint project….
